INFINIDAT is Hiring an Assistant Financial Controller Near Waltham, MA
DESCRIPTION
Location: Greater Boston Area
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply GAAP principles, prepare and post journal entries
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including cash, accruals, prepaids, assets, and intercompany accounts
- Lead preparation of all tax compliance items including income tax, sales/use tax, property tax, annual reports and registrations
- Analysis and preparation of weekly reports to be communicated to management, including budget vs. actual variances
- Support AP/AR specialist with invoicing, collections and payment processing
- Monitor and record daily bank account transactions
- Prepare commissions and MBO reports
- Manage the month-end close and audit activities; ensure accurate and timely close for North America operations
- Assist in enhancing and enforcing internal controls and documentation of processes for SOX compliance
- Ad Hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS
- 7 years general ledger and accounting experience (Audit, Finance & Accounting)
- MBA a Plus
- CPA a Plus
- Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP software
- Experience with Avalara software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational and communication skills
- Highly motivated, quick learner and positive attitude
- Professional presence and ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with various levels within the organization as well as external customers and vendors.
